Peace Rally Supports Local Refugee Populations, Agencies and Efforts

BUFFALO, N.Y. – On Thursday, November 19, a peace rally will be held in front of 95 Franklin Street (Old County Hall) – 1pm. According to organizers, the event is being held to recognize the atrocities that have been occurring abroad in war torn countries, and also in Paris, Beirut, etc.
Groups participating in the rally include the Interfaith Peace Network, PUSH Buffalo, National Federation for Just Communities, 21stCentury Park, WEDI (Westminster Economic Development Initiative), WNY Muslims and the WNY Peace Center
