Families gathered to board Miss Buffalo II for WNY Muslim’s Diversity Cruise under blue skies on Sunday, September 21st.

The sun shone brightly, in spite of the earlier warnings of thunder and rain, and the weather was perfect as cruise-goers prepared to take a tour around Lake Erie. The attendees were treated to gorgeous views of the Buffalo Waterfront as they chatted amongst friends, and children had plenty of room to run around and compete for the best glimpses of Buffalo’s famous skyline.

The cruise was enjoyable for people of all ages. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase, and there was even a trivia game for those who wanted a shot at winning some imported candy bars.

Overall, the cruise was the ideal way to celebrate the end of summer. It brought the community together in a unique social setting, and gave them an opportunity to enjoy some of Buffalo’s famous landmarks in a fun and relaxing environment.
