WNYMuslims in collaboration with Delavan Grider Community Center - Metro CDC, has planned an initiative on Thursday, May 26, 2022, to clean up the tragedy-afflicted, Jefferson (Tops) neighborhood, Buffalo, NY, where a lot of trash accumulated because of the increased traffic in the area since the tragedy (resulting in the loss of 10 lives and leaving 3 injured) happened, to support and show solidarity towards the effected community that they are not alone in their tough times of grief.

There are some other projects in the pipeline, which we are planning to help the families of the victims along with the community members got affected by the unfortunate incident.

We highly appreciate and are extremely grateful to Metro CDC and our volunteers, who contributed to our efforts, without their help, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish our goal and we hope we’ll get the same response in the future as well.
