PRESS RELEASE: WNYMuslims Condemns Kenyan Mall Shooting

WNYMuslims is saddened by the news of the abhorrent violent shootings in Nairobi, Kenya’s Westgate Mall this Saturday, where militants have killed and injured many innocent people. The thoughts and prayers of our Editorial Board are with the families of those who lost their lives and we continue to pray for the safety of those still being held hostage.

As an organization we condemn the violent acts of Al Shabab, the militant group which has taken responsibility for the attack. We consider this on-going horrific scene, which has claimed nearly seventy lives and injured hundreds more, un-Islamic and inhumane. READ MORE.
