Salaam/Shalom Conversations, a Jewish-Muslim collaboration, welcomes those interested in Conversations to promote dialogue for peace and balance between our faith communities.

PROGRAM:

The session will have:

A discussion about kosher & halal foods.

A tour of the Himmel Chapel in Jewish Federation Apartments.

A question/answer session

Followed by some light snacks.

Rabbi Ori Bergman and Dr. Yonina Foster, Activity Director and contributor to Jewish spiritual life in the Buffalo community, have planned this program with Farina Mirza, Community Outreach Coordinator and Faizan Haq, founder, of WNYMuslims, to bring both communities together for discussions.

This will be the third effort at opening doors to learning more about one another’s faiths.

For those inspired to bring peace and understanding through educational events between the two faith groups, please us to join in this important endeavor. We are Looking for partners to help create opportunities for friendship. Women and men are invited to assist and participate. Your monetary support will enable to spread our horizons,
