Suhaib Webb is an American convert to Islam who currently serves as Imam and Resident Scholar of CenterDC. He was born in Oklahoma to a Christian family, including a grandfather who was a preacher. In his youth, Webb was a Hip-Hop DJ and gang member. Webb brings his deep understanding of American youth culture to his Islamic preaching style and has gained substantial youth followership on Snapchat and other social media platforms.
