Shaukat Khanum Fundraising Gala Dinner with Malkoo

WNYMuslims, in collaboration with Desi Versa, hosted the third annual Shaukat Khanum Fundraising Gala at Falcon Heights, Williamsville, in support of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. The event brought together community members to advance a shared mission of hope, healing, and compassion.
The evening featured inspiring speeches, including remarks by Dr. Zeshma, Mr. Faizan Haq, and Dr. Riffat Sadiq, MD, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in the fight against cancer. A soulful Tilawat by Hashim Elahi, an engaging presentation by Dr. Nabeela K. Patail, and a compelling slideshow by Dr. Yousef Aasim highlighted the hospital’s transformative mission.
Guests participated in a silent auction, enjoyed a delectable dinner catered by Apna Dera, and were captivated by electrifying performances from artists Malkoo and Sara Altaf.
