WNY Muslims sends condolences to the families of over 70 victims killed of a bomb blast during a ritual service at the Sufi shrine yesterday, Thursday, in southern Pakistan. We, WNY  Muslims, also pray  for speedy recovery for more than 100 people injured there.

According to NBC News, it was one of the worst attacks in the past few years on Pakistan, which has suffered a string of ISIS- or Taliban-based attacks since August. Pakistan has been at war with Taliban and other extremist groups for more than a decade. "The past few days have been hard, and my heart is with the victims," Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said. "But we can't let these events divide us, or scare us. We must stand united in this struggle for the Pakistani identity, and universal humanity."

WNY Muslims hopes for everyone to stand in solidarity against terrorism here in the US and around the world.
